Ingredients

  • 16 ounces dark chocolate (60% or higher), chopped
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • flaky sea salt (to taste)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Gently melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave method (see Recipe Notes section above). Remove from heat. Pour chocolate onto parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Evenly sprinkle the pecans, rosemary and sea salt over the chocolate edge to edge.
  • Using the back of a spoon, gently push the pecans, rosemary, and salt down to make sure they are adhered to the chocolate.
  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15 minutes or until firm.

Notes

  • Temper chocolate using the microwave: Add chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl and melt for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir thoroughly. Return chocolate to microwave and melt for another 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Continue this process until chocolate is completely melted.
  • How to store: Place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Bring to room temperature before serving.
  • Use high-quality chocolate since we are only using 3 ingredients and chocolate is the main ingredient.
