4 Easy Ingredients

  • 20 ounces (60% or darker) chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup almonds, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
  • 2 tbsp smoked (coarse) sea salt

What Are Cacao Nibs?

Cacao nibs are the crushed parts of cacao beans, which are the main ingredient in chocolate. Cacao nibs have an intense, earthy, and bitter taste (similar to coffee beans) and can be packaged raw or roasted. And as healthy as dark chocolate is, cacao nibs are even better for you since they don’t have any added sugar! They are high in protein, antioxidants, and protein. And you can add them to so many of your favorite things – smoothies, ice cream, oatmeal, or even salads!
